A boxed Moorcroft centenary pin dish.The markings on the base of this plate show a design copyright date of 1997.Moorcroft chose 1997 to be their centenary year i.e. 100 years from when William Moorcroft began his career with James Macintyre and the HC centenary year cypher for 1997 is also shown on the base.The diameter of the pin dish late is 119mm and the height 18mm.Both the pin dish and the box are in excellent condition.This Moorcroft centenary pin dish is available online only however if visiting the Antiques Centre in York please visit Cabinet 138 situated on the Lower Ground Floor to view a selection of interesting items including additional Moorcroft Pottery from early vintage pieces to more modern examples.
