For all the new long john wearers, it’s not like the movies where these can be worn in the middle of a snow storm. These do keep you warm but it’s not thick like western films make you think. These are like a thin shirt that covers the entire body. You do have to spread the back flaps when you have to do your sitting business but for the most part, they are pretty comfortable. I swapped these out for my modern under garments and wear this daily with no issues. I recommend washing them once a week but that’s your call.
