Reordered extra Union suits in different colors. Charcoal, print with red/black and reindeer, red, and green.The green reminds me of the wool blankets when I was in the military. Does not resemble the photo like forest green. Definitely drab olive military green. Kinda brown green. This said, it’s fine with us.Today wearing these long johns under my Santa Grinch suit to help stay warm when giving gifts to neighbor children who help in the donation community garden. Plus random people will be offered organic bomb pops :)I’ve worn this product every day for the month. They help during the crisp cool winter days. Partnered with a faux fur lined Amazon hoody and a pair of snow pants radiate a lot of heat on below zero days.Looking at other reviews notice people commented on thickness. The original union suits are not thick. Made with cotton. Even though these are a different material and thin they pack a powerful heat maintenance, in my view, when partnered with other clothing.I like to layer when it’s cold. Enjoy the cooler weather. These long undies have made popping outside anytime easy and enjoyable.Though indoors prefer the temp down. Probably helps enjoy the outdoors when the temp drops below zero with the dog for frisbee and checking on the feral kitty village we built to help a few fur friends stay toasty, too. They’re like little polar bears enjoying the cold, too.If you can nab pairs on sale all the better.The only concern I have is the snap. I like it compared to the original union suit with a button. But, it’s a challenge to unsnap. Ya can’t grab the material and pull to release. The material will rip at some point. The connection is so strong. With practice it get’s easier but is still a stinking point. Pun intended :)Uber happy with these long johns, color choices, and the sale rocked :)Update /\My traditional red cotton union suit bought at the Army Navy store lived a happy life keeping me warm. As a first layer during chilly winter days. After a few years of searching for an extra suit on Amazon stumbled upon this brand. Bought a couple pair in charcoal grey and winter print.One challenge for me was locating a traditional suit comparable to the Army Navy store original. For a lower price and decent quality.The two issues with that suit is butt door button did not last long. The original cotton suit does not have much give in the material. Does stretch a little over time. Though this is not enough to prevent possible tear or loss. The button tore off over years of use. Patching the hole is simple. Though the long term issue exists.The second issue with the original is over times the material relaxes and its shape does not hold well. The warmth is the focus for me. I’ll wear this pair until they disintegrate. But I would like more pairs. Without the issues of the original from the Army Navy store.Upon slipping on this brand am super impressed. Though my first impression was concerned due to the material used. Wondered if they would be warm enough.The problems of the OG suit disappeared. The material returns to its form quick. The trap door has a give that allows it to open for use and return to its original form easy peasy.Weight wise is half that of the original suit. The fit is perfect. Bought a small. I’m 5’9 1/2” at about 148 and this suit hangs perfect and is very flexible. Once on was giddy as the warmth is perfect. Slipping on snow pants is easier than jeans or sweats.Bought a set to keep in the Jeep for the emergency kit and will use this on extended road trip outdoor adventures that go on for weeks.The color is perfect. Will not fade or run like the OG pair that require being washed alone for a while. I do not risk, even after all these years, mixing loads. Concerned red will contaminate cloths to pink highlights.For the winter holidays the print with deer makes me smile. But the flannel black and red plus charcoal, and red are awesome, too.With the sale followup to the first purchase was encouraged to buy a few extra pairs. Not only was there a sale but an additional percentage for me so wow, thank you.These come in handy during walks and frisbee with my buddy, a German Shepherd. Plus we have a feral cat tiny house village with three homes we stock for a few locals. Self heating and electric activated pads and even some Christmas lights a tree and tiny wreath. We can spend extra time with them socializing our presence in continued hope someday they may decide to have human family. Even in the subzero temps that creep in randomly for a month or two.So so happy with this brand and union suit.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??
