First, you should know that I’m a longtime wearer of briefs from that large company that rhymes with pains. But when I needed to replace some of my worn out undies, I decided to see what options are out there. I wanted briefs, but not my usual brand. I wasn’t totally happy with the comfort level or the durability of the “pains” briefs. I happened upon the Bamboo briefs and ordered 4 pairs in size M (my waist is about 33”).These briefs are a game changer for me. They’re so much better than what I’ve always worn. Here’s what I find superior about them (my personal experience; your mileage may vary, as body shapes and sizes my be a factor):1. Virtually wedgie-proof. These briefs just don’t ride up. They stay in place even through gym workouts.2. Escape-proof. You know what I mean. With my old briefs, occasionally one of the “boys” would escape out the side of the crotch—NOT cool. That is basically impossible with the Bamboo briefs, because of the way the contoured pouch fully contains one’s package. It’s actually amazing how well the pouch keeps things in place, again, even through gym workouts.3. Super soft and breathable. The edge seams around the leg openings are very low-profile, and the width of the fabric through the crotch is a bit narrower than what I’m accustomed to. That translates into essentially no bunching of fabric between the legs. Couple that with the super-soft fabric, and these are the most-comfortable briefs I’ve personally ever worn.I immediately ordered 7 additional pairs once I had experienced these Bamboo briefs.
