Of course safety first so ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION. I have been exploring different shapes and sizes of shot for my new Daisy F16 slingshot. Bullet Weights brand 1oz ‘egg’ fishing sinkers were not to expensive, and hit VERY hard at close range. They are heavy for slingshot ammo, and so travel slowly, but are massive and retain A LOT of kinetic energy on impact. I shoot in the desert southwest so I am happy with the lack of ricochet when lead shot hits river rock or granite boulders (although I hate the idea of flinging lead into the environment).
