Update, 02/22/2021I ordered this screwdriver, on 09/20/2019, and I’ve used it on many occasions. It’s still holding a charger very well, and it’s still doing the job, and doing it very well. One of the two small, red, securing clips that holds the case closed won’t stay attached to the case, but this is a very small issue, since the remaining clip holds the case lid closed. This really is a great little rechargeable screwdriver to have around the house, for those small, random jobs that pop us.Update, 11/27/2020Fourteen months later and this little rechargeable screwdriver is still working great. I initially gave this a five star rating, but I’m taking one star back for the following reasons: (1) the little led light doesn’t activate until you’ve already started using the screwdriver. It would be far better if you could activate the light before you start the screwdriver, and remain on for a couple seconds afterwards; (2) the carrying case is great, but one of the two plastic latches keeps popping off the case. I contacted the seller, who said they were working on that issue, and they said they would keep me posted, of course I’ve never heard back from them. With all that said, this is still a nice little power screwdriver, to use on small jobs.Excellent light duty rechargeable screwdriver/drill. I purchased this little Hychika screwdriver kit from Amazon about two months ago, and I’ve used it several times, both as a screwdriver and a lightweight drill.I was surprise at the amount torque it has, and the battery seems to be holding up very well. After several uses I decided to plug it in to recharge it, even though the battery was still going strong. It’s been my experience that it’s best to keep rechargeable batteries topped off, to prevent it from running out of juice in the middle of the next job.The kit comes with a decent assortment of screwdriver bits, and one drill bit, which effortlessly snap in and out of the quick change chuck. They are held snuggly in place with a quick release, spring loaded, collar. The included plastic case holds everything snuggly in place. My one “con” with this item is the plastic securing latch; the slide-to-open/close latch tends to jump off track and fall off, if you’re not careful opening and closing it. To me, this is no big deal; I wrap a small bungee cord around the case, just as a precaution. The little flashlights that are built into the body of the screwdriver, one at the tip and one at the base, are a nice touch, too. The one at the working end of the screwdriver automatically lights up as soon as the screwdriver is triggered on. It would be even better if there were a way to activate the front light without powering up the screwdriver, but that’s certainly no deal breaker, either.I emailed Hychika’s customer service, via Amazon, concerning the case latch malfunction, and they advised that they will be working on a redesign to correct the issue. They also stated they will ship one of the updated cases to me, once they are ready for marketing. In addition to that, Hychika refunded me a few dollars to make up for this issue. That’s great customer service!I went the extra mile and purchased a high quality set of snap-on screwdriver and drill bits, but that’s definitely optional, depending on someone’s individual needs.I’d definitely recommend this screwdriver/drill kit to a friend.
