First, I like that there was literally zero assembly required here. The rack came collapsed down, and you just stand it up and flip the sides outward to put them into the position where they support the level above them. Nobody likes putting things together, and this was as easy as it gets.Next, I will say that this show rack looks very nice. Bamboo has a great look to it. It looks like a premium wood.Now for the potential limiting factors of this shoe rack.Be sure that you see the dimensions in the listing so that you understand the size of this rack. I really don’t see you putting more than 2 pairs of adult-sized shoes on each level, which means this rack will only hold 8 pairs of shoes. Not a lot!Next, consider the weight of the shoes that you put on this rack. The way that the sides stay outward and support the rack is by putting tension on hinges. If you are putting a heavy pair of boots or shoes on the rack, you are going to be stressing hinges that will eventually fail. How do I know this? The rack comes with extra hinges and screws in a little plastic bag. That was a little concerning!Next, even when this rack is set up, it’s not the most stable rack. If you bump it from the side, it will sway. It’s not a really stable rack, but it should be OK, unless you really hit it hard or your dog runs into it.Last, I personally feel that $39.99, the current price, it pretty high for what you are getting here. I think this would be 5 stars at $24.99-$29.99, but at $39.99, I am going to have to reduce this to 4 stars.Not a bad option here, but beware of the potential drawbacks that I noted, which might be a bigger or smaller deal based on the person.
