BREATHABILITY IS ZERO. Which makes sense given its a waterproof garment. I thought I might put these to the test doing some irrigation repair, on my knees in the grass digging into the ground on a full sun day with nothing under the pants except boxer shorts. Within minutes my legs were cooking. By the time I got my tools laid out, before I even broke ground, I had to go back and change out of them because I was seriously uncomfortable, potentially to a hazardous point had I continued. So while the product description lists several outdoor activities, I feel the emphasis needs to be on water protection; ie wet and cooler conditions. So I want to be clear I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND these for any activity under direct sun.DURABILITY UNLIKELY TO WITHSTAND ABUSE. The material is thin, not plastic bag thin but I liken it to about what a decent quality rain poncho feels like. So light duty use (fishing, gardening on a cool day) ya sure, medium duty (hiking) ehh maybe, heavy duty (construction work) highly unlikely.FIT WAS OK. Not great, not horrible, but acceptable. Shoulder strap adjustment was a matter of getting the crotch to be loose enough not to crush my fellas whenever I bent over. I’m 6’1″ and the ideal strap position resulted in the chest pocket basically being at my belly. If I keep using these I’m going to rig up a cinch for the back because I did had to readjust the straps a number of times as they slipped from my shoulders when slacked by bending over.THE POCKET IS ON THE SMALLER SIZE. It was large enough to hold my phone but just barely. Large phones in large cases might not fit well enough to be functional.VALUE WISE, ITS CONDITIONAL. If you’re not trying to do heavy work, or bake under the sun, then I’d say yea the value is there.
