Sika Latex is a polymer bond made from synthetic rubber, designed to be added to cement mortar to enhance its adhesion strength and water resistance. This product is ideal for use in hot and tropical climates. It serves as a versatile additive, improving the properties of cement mortar whether it is diluted or undiluted with water. Typically, Sika Latex is mixed with clean water in ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 for various applications. Additionally, it can be sprayed onto bricks and used in bonding mortar (scratch coat), followed by plaster application while the scratch coat remains wet.
