I was skeptical when I was ordering and my recommended size was 2 sizes bigger than I usually take in almost every brand that has small/medium/large/etc. sizing rather than numbered sizes, so I checked the size chart on the brand’s website. Based on their information my usual size would be correct so I went with that instead of the recommendation, and the pants fit me perfectly. If you’re in between sizes, though, I think you’re safer sizing up rather than down because the waistband and ankle elastic are stretchy and comfortable but effective, and the cut is not tight but it’s slim, so a little extra room probably won’t change the fit in a bad way.I am not shaped like the model in that my waist is narrow but need a larger size for my hips and bottom. Nonetheless, the rise is long enough and the waistband wide enough that this cut works well for me. The length is good, too- a little short for me (I’m 5’9″ and sometimes need a medium-long or long size depending on the rise and style) but still work well as sort of a 7/8 jogger cut, and the ankle bands aren’t so tight that they bug me even with resting at a higher point on my leg.My only other experience with a scrubs brand is Mediclo, and overall I’d say their stuff is more aesthetically pleasing, but only due to factors that are all about personal taste. These really do fit well, the fabric is light and soft and quiet (no rustling sounds). The zippers, ties, and fasteners are all high quality, and the pants come through machine washing and drying looking like new without any special care. In the black, they are subtle and don’t scream “medical uniform.”The quality of the fit and fabric makes these a good value.
